Portfolio Tracker

Set-up multiple position-based portfolios to track the value of investments

Unlike other investment tracking software and services, Portfolio Tracker aggregates data about stocks and mutual funds in your portfolio and transforms it into valuable information for you to make trade decisions.

  • Set up multiple portfolios with positions or watch lists
  • Include stocks, mutual funds, options, cash and other investments
  • Web access so you can track investments online from anywhere, anytime
Do you use a Portfolio or a Watchlist? For the past few years Stockhouse had, what many would call, a Watchlist. Going back a few years prior to that we had a Portfolio. What’s the difference? A Watchlist is used for quick overview of streaming data and links to deeper info, whereas a Portfolio is intended to log transactional information and be used for planning. To better meet everyone’s preferences, our Portfolio now provides new functionality, and in the next few weeks we will release a new Watchlist. It will be under Portfolio navigation and this message will be updated once it is available. We also plan on releasing new and improved News and Email Alerts tools in the same Menu.

Most of the content from your old or classic portfolio has already been transferred to the new version on this page. This happened on March 4th 2016. Entries added to the classic portfolio since then will be moved to this new portfolio shortly after May 1st. This pending transfer does not affect how you use the new portfolio. You can add or remove stocks here as you wish. We will only transition stocks that you added to your old portfolio between March 4th and April 28th.

In addition to the data transfer we have created a new read only archive page that will ensure you can access all records even if we were unable to transfer them to the new portfolio. The page is live.
