Can you describe your company and say what it does?
Aldrin Resources Corp. (TSX: V.ALN, Stock Forum) is exploring for uranium adjacent to (and on trend with) Alpha Minerals/Fission Uranium’s recent high-grade discovery at Patterson Lake Saskatchewan. Aldrin’s Triple M Property covers 12,001 hectares adjacent west and south of Alpha/Fission Patterson Lake discovery where Aldrin has an option to earn a 70% undivided interest upon completion of $4 million in work expenditures over the next four years. Access to the Triple M property is provided by Saskatchewan Highway 955.
What distinguishes your company from others in your space?
Uranium mineralization trends across Aldrin’s Triple M property as defined by conductors, faults and drill intersections at the Patterson Lake discovery and Cameco’s Derkson Lake occurrence. Aldrin has a firm commitment to do an extensive work program to explore the faults, lineaments and conductors that carry uranium mineralization trending towards Aldrin’s properties.
You’ve mentioned a 70% undivided interest in the Triple M Uranium Property in the Patterson Lake Area of Saskatchewan. What attracted you to this property?
The close proximity of other successful companies exploring for high-grade uranium and the trending drill lines head towards Aldrin’s properties. The Athabasca basin and surrounding area is proving to be the most exciting exploration area in Canada.
Surveys have begun at the Triple M Uranium Property. What are your next plans following the results?
Aldrin has commenced a VTEM airborne survey for the 6 claims. The survey is designed to detect conductors and magnetically defined structures that may define targets for uranium mineralization. Aldrin will then begin a prospecting and mapping effort and a geochemical survey collecting lake bottom and surface radon samples. Target specific ground electro-magnetic surveys will be used to locate bedrock conductors and further sampling using reverse circulation drilling will be used this fall to collect unoxidized till.
What does your management team bring to the project?
Aldrin’s management team covers all areas necessary for a public company. The directors of Aldrin are specialists in securities law, accounting, geological engineering and finance and have many years of experience in the public markets. This minimizes the use of outside consultants where most of the needed work for a public company can be done within the management team.
What are the key challenges that you face in your business?
Venture markets in North America have been challenging for the past two years, but the market has seen a resurgence in money raised for certain sectors. The uranium properties of the Athabasca Basin and surrounding areas are proving to be the most exciting in today’s venture market.
What do you hope to achieve for the remainder of 2013?
Aldrin will complete our airborne survey, then move to define targets and develop the property into a high potential uranium exploration project.
Why should an investor be interested in Aldrin Resource Corp.?
Aldrin is well positioned in the area with claims bordering a successful drill program that has intersected high-grade uranium (e.g. Alpha/Fission’s drill hole PLS013-053 – 49.5 meters of 6.06% 308 and 16.5 meters 2.63% U308) on structural and geophysical trends pointing towards the Aldrin properties. Aldrin has money available in the treasury and has recently announced further capital raise to ensure all areas of the project are financed.
Disclosure: Aldrin Resources is a Stockhouse client.
