Fort Mill Facility Demonstrates Superior Energy Efficiency

UFS) (TSX: UFS) today announced that its Corporate Operations Center in
Fort Mill, SC has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's
(EPA's) ENERGY STAR certification, which signifies that the building
performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for
energy efficiency, while meeting strict energy efficiency performance
levels set by the EPA.

Commercial buildings that earn EPA's ENERGY STAR certification use an
average of 35 percent less energy than typical buildings. Domtar
improved its Operations Center's energy performance through employee
education and engagement, and by working closely with building
management to implement cost-effective improvements over time.
Developed and managed by Childress Klein Properties, Domtar's Corporate
Operations Center represents over 76,000 square feet of Class A,
corporate office space in Fort Mill's Kingsley Park office park. "As

over 15 years ago, along with the fact it represents one of only six
ENERGY STAR certified office buildings within the project's ZIP code.
