Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on ACI, ANR, BTU and WLT

On Friday, the Obama administration announced regulations that would limit carbon pollution from new power plants. The Market Vectors-Coal ETF (NYSEARCA: KOL) fell 2.89 percent Friday and is down over 21 percent year-to-date. The proposal would require new coal-fired units would need to meet a limit of 1,100 pounds of CO2 per MWh. According to a recent Reuters article by Valerie Volcovici, the "most efficient coal plants currently in operation emit at a rate of at least 1,800 pounds of CO2 per MWh." Today's announcement ... is direct evidence that this Administration is trying to hold the coal industry to impossible standards," said West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin.

Arch Coal Inc. (NYSE: ACI) shares traded in the range of $4.74 to $5.01 Friday before settling to close at $4.74, a decrease of 5.01 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $4.89 and $5.16 levels with some support at $4.63. Shares of Arch Coal have fallen approximately 35.0 percent in 2013.

Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: ANR) shares traded in the range of $6.18 to $6.65 Friday before settling to close at $6.22, a decrease of 6.18 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $6.38 and $6.75 levels with some support at $6.09. Shares of Alpha Natural Resources have fallen approximately 36.0 percent in 2013.
