Eastern Platinum (T.ELR) director resigns, stock drops

Eastern Platinum Ltd. (TSX: T.ELR, Stock Forum) reported that John Andrews has resigned as a director of Eastplats and its subsidiary companies.
Andrews has served as a director of Eastplats since 2007 and has been instrumental in the recommissioning, ongoing operations and current care and maintenance of the Crocodile River mine and was also closely involved in the development of the company's Eastern Limb projects.

Eastern Platinum is a platinum group metal producer that explores and develops projects in South Africa.

On Wednesday, Eastern Platinum slipped 5.6% to $0.085 a share. The company had a market cap of $78.9 million, based on 928.2 million shares outstanding.
