SNC-Lavalin vice-president to retire

(The Canadian Press) MONTREAL _ The head of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.'s (TSX: T.SNC, Stock Forum) infrastructure concession investments is retiring months after he was shifted from the position as the engineering giant's chief financial officer.

Gilles Laramee, who joined the Montreal-based company in 1986, will retire on Aug. 9, the company said in a press release.

SNC-Lavalin shares rose 0.68% to $44.15 on Thursday, leaving a market cap of $6.69 billion, based on 151.5 million shares outstanding.

The 52-week range is $49.85 and $34.36.
