Yellowhead Mining Inc. (TSX: T.YMI, Stock Forum) said Friday it has started an 11,000-metre in-fill drilling program at its Harper Creek project north of Kamloops, British Columbia.

The program aims to upgrade the category of resources within the pit area and allowing for more detailed mine planning and potential exploration benefits, the company said in a press release.

The project as designed is expected to produce a total of 3.63 billion pounds of copper, 372,000 ounces of gold, and 14 million ounces of silver contained in concentrate.

Yellowhead was unchanged Friday at 66 cents, leaving the company with a market cap of $35.2 million, based on 53.3 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is $1.37 and 52 cents.
