Midlands Minerals Corp. (TSX: V.MEX, Stock Forum) jumped 17% in early active trading Wednesday before closing unchanged at 3 cents after the company said it has received significant assay results from the Parlozi project in Serbia.

These results are from underground sampling at the Plandiste prospect at Parlozi, which was recently optioned from Reservoir Minerals Inc. (TSX: V.RMC, Stock Forum), the company said in a press release.

Mechanized drilling is underway and the company is drilling mobilizing for its planned spring drill program of 15-20 holes, (roughly 3,000 metres) which will commence early next week, the company said in a press release.
