Sangoma Technologies (V.STC) selects Microsoft Gold Partner as Master Reseller – shares jump 15%

Sangoma Technologies (TSX-V:STC, StockForum), engaged in the development and manufacture of hardware and software components that enable or enhance Internet Protocol Communications Systems, announced today that the company has signed Microsoft Gold Partner, Advanticom to act as a Sangoma Master Reseller.

 

The company's news release detailed, “As part of the Empowered by Sangoma Master Reseller designation, Advanticom will standardize its Lync and Office 365 deployments with Sangoma's NetBorder Lync Express appliance, which will deliver significant cost and labor efficiencies to Advanticom's deployments, and result in implementations that take half the time compared to existing methods.”

 

Brian Conboy, president and chairman of Advanticom, commented, “Partnering with leaders such as Sangoma--that share our commitment to quality--allows us to surpass customer expectations.”

 

Conboy continued, “The addition of the Sangoma NetBorder Lync Express to our Lync product portfolio will increase our ability to serve customers and make us more efficient.”

 

He then summed up, “The combination of a complete Microsoft Lync server environment with an SBC, gateway, active directory, MS Office and Lync in a single appliance, plus the ability to leverage existing Office 365 subscriptions, delivers a powerful solution in an easy-to-install, all-in-one package.”

 

Sangoma was in the news recently when it reported year-end and fourth quarter results.

 

Shares were up 15% on the news to $0.23 per share.

 

Currently there are 28,829,809 shares outstanding with a market cap of $6.63 million.
