) has signed another celebrity
to its soon-to-launch Mobio Insider platform, now snaring Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley as a social media influencer.
Wesley boasts 2.4 million Twitter followers, adding to a roster
that includes reality TV hate-magnet Scott Disick, rapper Romeo, and singer/songwriter/hip hop artist Ke$ha.
The Mobio platform is slated to launch on December 1 with a roster of influencers agreeing to take the tool to millions of Twitter users.
The platform allows celebrities and fans to interactive on an advanced level, with fans being able to ask the celeb for images, videos, and more, with fans polling suggestions to see which they most agree with.
The Mobio strategy appears to be to sign up heavily followed social media celebrities who will agree not only to use the platform, but push the platform to millions of followers, hitting the ground running on December 1 with a large breakout of software uptake.
Shares in parent company LX Ventures have jumped 100% in the last few weeks
, despite an insider sell-off, with the launch of Mobio driving much buzz. LX also boasts two other companies under its wing, with medical aggregator Sosido
also beginning to pick up movement.
LX stock rose $0.015 to $0.313 on the Wesley news, a jump of 5%, in moderate trading.
