DragonWave closes deal to acquire Chinese operations of Nokia Siemens

OTTAWA - Telecom equipment supplier DragonWave Inc. has completed the deal to acquire some of Nokia Siemens Networks' operations in China, adding about 100 employees to the Ottawa-based company's operations.

Shares in DragonWave (TSX:DWI) were up 16 per cent, or 33 cents, to $2.39 in morning trading Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
