TORONTO (SHfn) – Candente Copper (TSX: T.DNT, Stock Forum) shares surged 38% to 56 cents on Thursday after the copper project developer announced that exploration and feasibility drilling has begun on the Cañariaco property in Peru after receiving a government water permit, the final permit required.
As well, shares of Intertainment Media (TSX: V.INT, Stock Forum) rose 8% to 13 cents on volume of more than 1.3 million shares as the technology incubator said its Ortsbo subsidiary has launched its first localized business agreement effectively creating a partnership in The People's Republic of China.
Champion Iron Mines (TSX: T.CHM, Stock Forum), meanwhile, reported that it expects to release a Preliminary Feasibility Study for its 100% owned Consolidated Fire Lake North Project in Quebec sometime this month. Champion Iron Mines stock slipped 9% to 68 cents.
