Size matters, the smaller the company, the quicker it can change. A company with a livery of 700 aircraft can not change as fast as one with 100. Now, to make that change even more possible, Westjet has a huge cash reserve proportionally for its...

Hmm, for what little it is worth, my observation are: Facts: CASM up, stage length down, guidance to see some continued upward pressures on costs. My speculation: first off I was surprised at the drop in stage length, though I should have expecte...

Ever since the last 52 week high was set on July 18th there have been 4 one cent upgrades on the consensus estimate for Q2 earnings. That is about 14% upgrade in less than 2 weeks. It never looked like much because it was one cent at a time. Some...

Bothering to analyze and correct it made it heavy CloudIX but it is realy just very faulty work. I don't doubt that some technique can make a mix such as they have observationally described, though I have not 'run the numbers' quoted in terms of h...

An interesting point. In the case of convertible debt (either debentures, bonds, or preffereds) it is often a series of quantum 'steps' of dilution. Even in the case of options, warrants and rights, what dilution will happen is dependent on the ac...
