Allow me to properly qualify my statement as "stabilized flowing oil rate" rather than "flowing oil" rate which in this case involves higher rate initial flush production (a 30 hour test period). When these wells are tested t... |

It was interesting to note in their updated corporate presentation they've identified some of their wells are hindered by a sand crushing issue in their original frac design that can easily be remedied. They also identified some of their west... |

I'm not sure if this explains the price drop but the Stolberg Cardium 'D' pool was put under a maximum rate allowance in February (vs the January report) meaning some of Manitok's wells could be subject to production restrictions.... |

TORC seems to have put a number of properties up for possible sale/JV or farm-in. http://pngexchange.com/properties/list (select TORC) from the drop down list. My quick read of it is they are mainly undeveloped and non-Cardium properties. |

The whole point of the deal with Total was to have them finance the remainder of the Voyager upgrader. It seems all SU's management has done is dilute their working interest in their best quality oilsands projects. |

>>This is probably a dumb question from the uniformed, but why does the industry restrict production rates on particular wells?<< It's actually a very good question. The reason here is the wells produce both oil (very light oil ... |

They didn't release any information on the surface choke size used in the production test so the drawdown number doesn't help much. The most positive aspect of the NR is the fact they didn't recover gas or water. |

The 8-31 is a deviated well and is currently producing ~330bbls/d with almost no water from a single cardium sand (most wells in the area have multiple repeats of cardium). If MEI can put a horizontal into the same zone that would be an outstandi... |
