    - I stumbled on this solution (never got a response from BNN either)

    a) turn off Norton ad blocking
    b) purge all temporary internet files
    c) load the BNN video player. It will tell you that you have Norton and must reboot but just close the window and player completes loading.
    d) turn Norton ad blocking back on

afterthis you can load the videos for a few days & then you have to repeat the above process (BNN must change the adds on their viewer)

    - I don't like the new format of breaking a show into 4 segments (althouh I don't miss the ads)

    - I still just need audio - I usually only listen to the lunch news and the occasional guest. BNN has basically killed what little interest I had in their offering.

    - now I see Stockhouse is going to a new format! I'm not holding my breath on this either!

    - I must be getting old!

I got rid of Norton and now use AVG and I've had no problems at BNN and no virus problems. I also run spybot and ad-aware weekly and occasional visits to Norton's online virus check.

Anyone using Norton Internet Security is probably having all kinds of problems with various sites. I have been using their Anti Virus software and have been having problems with e-mail scanning. It locks up on e-mail with attachments, consistanly asks for my password to check the e-mail. It causes outlook (express) to reject the password.

I have talked with their "Tech" department. They are aware of the problem and their recommendation was to

"Turn it OFF... Permanently". What kind of a joke is that! I asked them what good was it to buy their anti virus software and then have to turn it off? They claim it isn't necessary because those sending the e-mail probably have anti-virus software!!!

    HINT: Sell your Symantec Stock.

I Removed Norton immediately.(which is not that easy)
