I'm thinking about adding another trust to my core holdings. I stumbled across aeu.un and from the prelim looksee I've had it looks really good. Am I missing something that would explain its low valuation.

    All opinions welcome and appreciated.

    Thanks

The management teams are respected. I think it is a reasonable one-stop-shopping choice for energy trusts. But the discount of the market price to the net asset value of the portfolio is currently not very substantial. Very simply, you could think about dividing the management fees and other fees they charge, as percent of NAV, by [that plus the amount of distributions they pass through to you as yield, as percent of NAV], to get some idea of what market price discount could be appropriate -- other things being equal, which they're not.
