Am I missing something here? Suddenly nobody is posting anymore and it seems all enthusism is gone right before the launch. Is it the calm before the storm ? If anyone knows something , send me a message.

    Hi bgdick

Yes it is quiet. We are waiting for some good news about SIO. We need 3DGO as soon as possible for consumers. Check for Yabazam. LG seems to go with them for there VOD 3D.

It seems that Samsung and LG already picked their content provider.

Did you browse the movies on yabazam?

It does not look like real competition for a properly stocked 3dgo store.

Looks like a bunch  of homemade movies. Something like what Dave/Maysteeler might try to pass off.

You are right.  This seems like the first generation of 3D movies... some of them just converted from 2D to 3D.  Actually this seems like this company specialy.  DDD is selling the app to convert 2D to 3D on LG and Samsung TV.

The test will be to see consumer and OEM reaction to better quality movies and higher quality display.

I think we're still in good shape.  Can't wait to see the PR.s in the next two weeks.

By the way did you see the stock price for DDD.... 24 Euros...  That would be nice for Sensio in a couple of years..

I guess nothing to add. My guess is still for 3 more PRs this month, and just 2 weeks to announce them. At least one more content deal, likely from a major studio (i.e., Disney/Pixar, Warner Bros or Paramount type of studio), earnings & CC, and official announcement of 3DGO launch. As well possibly a second content deal and/or licensing deal (#3 China is still a likely candidate in the near term).

Beyond September (once 3DGO launches) we can expect SIO to start promoting the Autodetect aggressively, and with money in the bank can start playing hardball with a few of S2D patent infringers who have yet to license the technology.

Also, once 3DGO is up and running, major players like LG and Samsung will likely become much more serious about signing licensing deals. Vizio is expected to heavily promote their new competitive advantage, and 2D-3D converted home movies won't cut it at that point at LG.

In the meantime, just sit back, relax, and wait for the news. And keep your fingers crossed that eventually LG or Samsung sign the "big deal". Because if/when they do, no amount of 5K iceberg orders at .38 or .40 will stop a quick rise to $1+.
