Actually, PowerPlay, Crescent (CPG), an oil Co w/ capitalization extremely similar to ECA, pays over 7% in dividends //:o) .... and there's a plethora of them, just do some research if you really interested. Just sayin ....

Totally agree, I think the downside is much less than the upside. The only issue is timing - NG could go sideways for a bit which I think is the worst case - so you collect a 4.5% dividend while you wait for the uptick in gas prices. |

But, Since the 16 month low on ECA, gas prices have more than doubled from below 2.oo to above 4. ECA is currently paying a 4.5% dividend - try to get that kind of divy in the Canadian O&G sector from a major. 2B investment for 49% off take...

They indicated June for a new CEO. When compared to CHK and some of the other gas producers in North America it is my opinion that ECA is doing a better job when it comes to corporate management. Still a new CEO should provide a lift. JMO
