Interesting article in the financial times a few days ago. Seems to imply that CHEVRON is still going ahead with it's proposed investment in unconventional wells with YPF. Opines further, that the majors are now bottom fishing in the ar... |

The deal with Argentina is a value added tax (VAT) payable to Crown Point. It has been as high as $2.2 million in the past. This money does not show up in production revenues. The NG/oil split for the Antrim property is 80/20. |

Popfrack is way off. I am guessing he either sold at the lows (23 cents ish) or for some crazy reason he shorted then and is trying to get people to sell. First off - El Valle has a 100% success rate and produces oil not gas! Secondly, the Antr...

Don't worry you won't be missed. People who have no research capability and sign up to stockhouse for the sole purpose of bashing a stock because they made a few bad trades are easy to spot. |

At least the market do agree with me because CWV stock price has been divided by almost 10 times over the past 2 years ($2.32 april 2011) CWV has been one of the worst junior oil&gas performers over the last 2 years on the market. Once again ...

They bought it for 2 reasons : 1) El valle is a total disaster as they can't ramp up their production as promised many times. So they wanted to buy something already producing in order to hide their imcomptencies even if the bought asset is n... |

I think it had something to do with the revenues paid to the Argentinian government. It was a very sweet and lucrative deal for Antrim Energy. Why else would Crown Point be interested in the property?

Sorry but NG price is sold at around $3/mcf in Argentina right now it is equivalent of $18 a barrel of oil. It is the lowest NG price on earth. Even US has better NG price at almost $4. At $4/mcf in US NG companies are broke because price is too ... |

It's been a while since I did my homework on Antrim Energy, but they had a pretty sweet deal on the sale of their Argentinian commodity. Much more profitable than what you are suggesting.

Hello Stockguru78, Good find. Apparently CWV is in discussions with a couple of different potential JV-partners for funding the Cerro los Leones drillings. Hope they will succeed.
