@woodwise - It's really not all that useful for you to inform investors in a lumber company that lumber is graded. We know that ...ok. The point is, 2&Btr is a benchmark grade and is an important revenue producer in CFP's product o...

Suitable name bridgetonowhere, that's where you ended up nowhere. Dipstick, it use to be common to have higher grade mixed in those loads, but, it does make sense cash wise. THAT IS WHY LUMBER IS GRADED. If lumber wasn't graded, you would...

@woodwise - If you don't need glasses and you're not looking at lumber through a bottle, then I can only assume your superiors haven't told you that it was common to have #1 and #2 in a bundle of 2&Btr SPF. A bundle of SPF source...

Alway the ones that know the least. Are you aware that there is not suppose to be #1 in 2@btter bundles. It's called GRADING LUMBER. Something you know nothing about. The grade rule also alows 5% undergrade in each package. Being good at bein...

@woodwise - I'm glad that looking at lumber is part of your job but if you get some new glasses or quit looking at it through a bottle you'll discover that CFP's lumber is deteriorating in quality. CFP's 2&Btr is worse than S...

See Lot's of Canfor on the trains, so someone wants the wood.

I easily tell you know nothing about lumber manufacturing, sales or product. There different grades of lumber and each company must meet those rules. Grade inspectors check these plants regularly. Canfor is a major producer of square edge lumber ...

Difficult to invest in CFP as the quality of it's SPF 2&Btr is second rate. Walk into any lumber yard today and look at CFP's spruce and it will either be twisted, bowed, discolored by mountain pine bettles, or waned so bad that it h...

Wonder what they thought when this stock was below 6 dollars. Wasn't that long ago, I know because I bought lots of it. It is not extremely under valued at 22 dollars.

WEF is my bet now with CFP profits

Canfor is leading the lumber recovery. Nice trading over the last few days. WEF new High today on strong volume, but could not hold the gain. Maybe later this week. Many favourable comments about lumber and housing starts on BNN, good sector for ...

CFP is synergistic with IFP.A and WEF. Yet, with Brookfeild owning the latter and the Sauder family owning the former it will take a huge premium to acquire. So, where to go? Go to the E.SPF mills in Queb. and Ont. The LRF in the Tembec mill...

Unlikely. CFP's divestiture of the OSB play is FSJ and idle OSB in Ft. Nelson (Polarboard) indicate no desire to get into panels. It's odd. I-beams are a good product and CFP has the 2x3 and the OSB to create them. Well, had the OSB.
