I agree Sr.Spec. You may have one brokerage acting on their own to short the name but to suggest some sort of collusion amongst the "brokerages"is just dead wrong. Having worked in the legal and compliance side of the industry I can tell you that such behavior would not be tolerated. SUch behavior would open any paticipatory firm opening themself up to regulatory sanction and potential legal action. Given that this stock isnt even covered by any of the majors I find it highly unlikely that one of the smaller houses would take such action, in the hope of achieving a share in some potential financing. The little guys (brokerages) are having a tough enough time keeping their head above water in this environement let alone resort to such actions. I greatly respect the Chiefs opinions and views but on this one I respectfully submit that he is just wrong.
