So you are saying a company operating under the pricnicpe of intellectual property engaging a University to do research where they potentially have no rights to any technology gained is a good thing?
Yet you omit the fact that public companies, on a regular basis, sign agreements with universities resulting in the rights being transferred to the public company? Why is that? Take a look at ONC-T they have signed numerous agreements with the U of C in Alberta.
