Technically, SNM's chart looks very bullish. The stock has been consolidating and trading within a channel. The 50-day SMA had crossed over 200-day in Sept. 2012 indicating a strong bullish trend. That cross-over is called the "Golden Cross" as opposed to the "Death Cross" wherein the 50-day crosses under the 200-day. Today's $0.35 low should hold.
Generally, a buy signal is established when the shorter-term 50-day SMA crosses above the 200-day SMA and contrastly, a sell signal is indicated when the 50-day SMA crosses below the 200-day SMA.
