It is perfectly possible to follow a company, and to become very knowledgable about it, without ever using Stockhouse.

For my stocks, I follow the fundamentals, the price action, the industry, and the price of gold, and they all help.  Also, one can follow Stockhouse for years, without registering.

Stockhouse is useful because it is anonymous, and people can say what  they think.  That gives the reader fresh perspectives, to follow up on.  It is usually easy to figure out which posters have put some thought into their comments.  The others can be ignored out.

(I took a small position in San Marco, hoping to have something interesting to follow over the winter, when the Yukon would be dormant.)
