Their last official news release was April 23rd re seismic. Time for an update. When will drilling start? Do they need another financing to proceed with drilling? Last financing, I think, only brought in about $350,000.

That was a great article and review. I am proud of the young fellow. They know what they are doing! They have been totally transparent with the information. They will do their best for us as investors. It is pretty tough in the tsx.v right now! Smi is holding its own. I am doing like the Director said "accumulating stock" ....
My quote for Father's Day is..."hold on tight to your dreams... Because when we hit oil.... Cowabunga!!!!!! We are going to be on north America's most wanted!"

The best guess i can get from google, is $600 pf. So if they want to drill four holes @ 1000ft. depth, they would need fianancing of around $2.5mil. They also make mention of drilling one deep hole, maybe 3000ft.? Hard to make an educated guess with the limited info that SMI gives us, somewhere in the $4- $5 mil. range needed to get this program rolling. I don't pretend to be knowledgeable on this, just trying to make a little sense of what is required, money wise to get this off the ground. I hope someone out there who does have some info, will share it with this board.
