I think a lot of the reason for the selling (that started 2 years ago!) was that expectations went from $1.50+ per unit to .50 per unit. But I don't agree that the business model doesn't work at $.50.
There is something like 150 million 3DTVs expected to be sold in 2014, if I recall correctly. If SIO were able to sign LG and Samsung @ .50 they, along with TCL, Hisense and Vizio would have well over 50% of the global market (possibly as must as 70-75%).
150 million x .50 = $75 million. How does the business model not work? It all comes down to signing format deals. And imo that relies on 3DGO.
