YES , I AM NEW TO THE BULLBOARD . HOWEVER MY COMMENTS ON MIRIMA HILL GO BACK TO 1976 WHEN THE FRENCH SUBMITTED A PROPOSAL TO MINE THE RARE EARTH DEPOSIT . AS AN ADVISOR TO THE MINES DPARTMENT AT THAT TIME , I RECOMMENDED THAT THE PROPOSAL BE REJECTED AND IT WAS . I SPENT 35 YEARS IN EAST AFRICA DURING WHICH TIME MIRIMA HILL WAS A TOPIC OF INTEREST . IF PAW FELT STRONGLY THAT THEY WERE BEING UNFAIRLY TREATED , THEY COULD GO TO THE CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION FOR ADVICE . I AM WELL AWARE OF THE PRIORITIES OF MANY CANADIAN/AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR RESOURCE COMPANIES AND HAVE CONSULTED FOR A NUMBER OF THEM . PAW SIMPLY DID NOT CARRY OUT ADEQUATE DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE MOVING INTO KENYA . THEY DID NOT DO SO WELL IN MOZAMBIQE EITHER . THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RAISE FUNDS IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THEIR TANTALUM PROJECT . I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND KENYA IS ONE COUNTRY THAT I WOULD NOT GO .
UNTIL A NEW MINING ACT IS IN PLACE AND DEEMED WORKABLE ALONG WITH ALL OTHER RULES AND REGULATIONS , IT WOULD BE WISE TO AVOID KENYA  . LET MY COMMENTS BE FOOD FOR THOUGHT . CORRUPTION IN KENYA IS PROBABLY ON PAR WITH QUEBEC .
