OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwire - Dec. 20, 2012) - Northern Graphite Corporation (TSX VENTURE:NGC)(OTCQX:NGPHF) ("Northern" or the "Company") announces that it has granted options to purchase an aggregate of 500,000 common shares to the five non-executive directors of the Company pursuant to the stock option plan approved by the Company's shareholders on June 12, 2012 (the "Plan"). The options are exercisable at any time at a price of $0.85 per share until December 20, 2017. The Company currently has 49,081,281 common shares issued and outstanding. After giving effect to the above grants, 4,000,000 options will be outstanding under the Plan.
