Oh the follies of the market. What we are witnessing is simply a stock forming (in this case) a year end bottom and nothing else. Someone wants in at a good price and someone wants out at any price - for whatever reason(s). These price swings during SP bottoms are perfectly normal especially with high speed trading. Then the rumours abound… what’s this… what’s that. Ask yourself. Did the company close? Stop production? Go through some cataclysmic catastrophe? I have not heard anything. Have you? If we do then it may be time for CNIL. Unless you need to adjust your portfolio - don’t do it at years end. Especially with this climate! If you really need to sell – and you should never own stocks of this nature if you do – put a fair price on the market and hold there. Putting market sell orders in when a share is performing in this way for no apparent reason is pure folly. I think we all need to calm down and listen to what I and others are trying to say.
My heart goes out to those school children. A sad day indeed.
It just goes to show that there are more important things to worry about. Keep your heads up!
