Well, perhaps in the short term.  At the end of the day, the people were silly for not voting.  From what I had seen, only about 50% of eligeable voters who voted in the first round, voted in the second which means really, Morsi only has about 25% of the total vote.  The people that didn't vote voted out of protest, which, they just might do again come time for the referendum.  Perhaps they have learn't their lesson.

I don't think sharia law is going to take hold here because most of the people don't want it and there will end up being a military overthrow of the government.  Just the way I see it.
