I can almost guarantee you that SPOTLIGHT, or the company that was formed to make it will have a website in reasonable time, and it will be fully functional... and it won't sit there for a year doing nothing. And I also bet you anything that they aren't infringing on patents. They were fully aware that Poynt's intellectual assets were to be sold and as I said, there are many ways to do this with little twists on concept to different code approaches.
