Mkomko. I think if you feel SP is the only way to evaluate a business for a purchase and the only way to determine its worth you miss the point of investing altogether. The PEA will spell out the capital required and the possible profit - Independently.
Poncho, Wwwater, and others can be deemed anything you wish but from my perspective they are determined that they have a fundamental story that's significant. They defend their rationale constantly which I would expect and they remain steadfast regardless of SP.
Some other guy that invested named Buffett had this to say:
For some reason, people take their cues from price action rather than from values. What doesn’t work is when you start doing things that you don't understand or because they worked last week for somebody else. The dumbest reason in the world to buy a stock is because it's going up.
Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can't buy what is popular and do well. - Warren Buffett
Attack if you must but recognize there are reasons beyond 'pumping'. Buffets a pumper too. He likes what he buys and rides it out and has had the last laugh enough times that I expect the last laugh is all that really matters. To date we don't know who'll have that laugh but I'm guessing it will be those that defended their choice to those that laughed early.
