I don't think they maintain a large short position. They dump a few thousand shares and dump price at close Buy back again mid day and then play it all again. They can average 100k shares a day and are actually accumulating a position slowly on the way down. It's all pretty easy with this stock and low volume. The consistent march down is what gives it away for me.
Interestingly the volume also picks up at the bottom or where they will work to get most of the shares. The .27 is harder to crack for them because the retail guys are confident buying at the 52 week low.
Im still looking for one more big play to attempt to crack .27. The retail guy will lose and the shares and profits go to the big fish.
