Ok HA, I do like that they are cashing in on the Iphone hype and the one thing I've been thinking about is where the demand is going to come from for these things.  Alivecor relies on the physicians to tell the patient what they need and the more that I think about it, that may be the way to go.  How many consumers go out shopping for a medical device without the physician actually subscribing it or recommending it.....but....

What's not to like:

-no 'smart monitoring' (no revenue from the readings)

-not approved for sale to consumers (yet)....

-dependent upon Iphone 4/4S (5 due for FDA approval in the spring, they going to have to get FDA approval every year for the new phones?) Also, when they change the shape of an iphone they need a new design.  What happens when you drop your iphone in a glass of beer (done that) and need a new phone, you gonna go buy an older phone to work with your $199 heart monitor?)
