Rob McEwen raised new money for his company by doing a "rights issue" to raise money instead of the usual PP share diluting Hi Fee charges that Canadian brokers charge.  There were no warrants and any shareholder could participate in the rights offering.  If the shareholder declined to participate others could buy his shares.  In Mcewens case he was willing to backstop the rights issue with his own cash to buy any unwanted shares.  It  was over subscribed and he raised 60 million.

no warrants or commisions  were paid
