Met a prospector while attending the Vancouver resources show today. He claimed to know the SE Kootenay region well and many other companies that have also explored in the area.
He saw a core photo from the Gold Viking hole #2 drilling and called it "dry ore" - low in sulphides and lots of quartz - which he says is similar to what came from Ottawa next door. Said dry ore can run extremely high in gold and silver grades though not always very noticeable with the naked eye.
Has anyone ever heard of dry ore? Very little info on the internet.
