"100m of 2g/t Au would be great"

And there lies the problem. if you are to expect something thats 100m thick of mineralization you are looking at a bulk tonnage type of deposit, which is almost always low grade. USually somewhere in the 0.5 to 2 g/t range.

Gold Viking was always a higher-grade vein type play, so you were never going to get anything near 100m widths of anything.

If anyone honestly expected 100m of mineralization on any vien play then it was always going to be a failure, b/c they just don't exist. It's basically setting up one's expectations for a disappointment.
