Whitehall in RE to your statement: "The only reference to Bre-X was from a media hungry Brent Cook. He hadnt even read the report!! When I have seen him interviewed, he has been drinking, referencing drinking rum and cokes while reviewing resource reports. More like a buffoon trying to peddle his newsletter. He was caught offside on this one unfortunately."

.................................................................................................................................................................................

There have been numerous posts on this board comparing BGM to Bre-X, which in my opinion is more than being critical and seems to me very close to being libelous...I think that we all have every right to be critical here of how this has been handled, how it happened in the first place, how long we have had our $ tied and many other things that have not gone well, many shareholders have been very vocal on their displeasure with current mgt. and I can agree with most of the posts in this regard, In fact BigBab has been highly critical of current mgt.(and I agree with most of his logic) but he had an issue when BGM was compared to Bre-X as shown beliow......when someone here starts comparing BGM to Bre-X, I think they are walking on thin ice.  JMO.....here are some recent posts:

Dear Fred Flintstone,

Let me spell it out for you one more time, just in case you didn't get the message the first time. The discredited Cow Mountain resource estimate, which led to the cease trade order, claimed 90 million ounces gold potential, while Bre-X only claimed 70 million ounces. I happen to believe these two numbers are both highly misleading and therefore comparable. If you have a problem with that, then do whatever you need to do, Fred.

Bxju,

Boss said there was a potential for hundreds of millions ounces gold. That is most definitely comparable to Bre-X, which only claimed 70 million oz

Bigbab,

I'm not afraid of lawyers. So, if Freddie or anyone else feels a need to take action to shut me up, there is no point in making idle threats. And you don't speak for anyone except yourself, Bigbab. I know of at least one shareholder who was interested in my opinion - Vested Interest. He hit my inbox on August 10 to ask me what I thought. I answered August 12, and told him I thought there was going to be a cease trade order. One day later, that's what happened. Vested Interest started his e-mail by saying, "You've written some very intelligent, thought provoking material on the BGM forum." He goes on to say that he thought the potential of he property was"amazing". Obviously, we disagree. Just because people disagree, doesn't mean they have to hate each other. I saved the full e-mail, but haven't brought it up, because it was a private message.
