It seems a little strange that bloomfield18 wants to compare BGM to Bre-X, yet the geologist hired by Bob Rose and the S. African guy also touted the potential of the BGM properties....  bloomfield, do you think this geologist hired by Bob Rose and his group is also in on this alledged Bre-X type scam?  And there is this rumor that Bob Rose is in with the Harbour group, and the Harbour group wants to takeover BGM and spend $40 mil on a Bre-X tyoe scam????????   Is your job to protect us all from these type scams or what?  I confess I am a trapped shareholder and BGM searches seldom produce any news but from this site, so I click on google and see the latest.  Here is an interesting part of a report on the PG1 report that most of you have already seen, but maybe bloomfield missed it.

FUTURE WORK – IMMEDIATE AND LONG TERM

Historical archived cores for the Cariboo project can yield an enormous amount of data at low cost , regarding the gold distribution in the Cow Mountain, Barkerville Mountain and Mosquito Creek-Island Mountain areas. Relogging and sampling of this material is being scheduled, and will contribute a great deal of data on the metal content of the "barren" wall rock throughout much of the prospective geology, as well as the gold content of the myriad of small veins and veinlets not previously assayed. ISN'T THIS WHAT SNOWDEN APPEARS TO BE DOING?

The presence of tungsten and barite in the extremities of the Barkerville Gold Mines’ property augurs well for the exhalative sedimentary nature of the initial gold distribution. Both tungsten and barite are commonly found in exhalative gold terranes and often delineate the mineralized target horizons. This provides incentive for exploration of the extremities of the belt as an extension of Peter George’s recommendations under Section 10-3 of his report.

From this experienced explorationist’s viewpoint the Peter George projections of the magnitude of the exploration targets are genuine and of a proper order of magnitude for the immediate Island Mountain-Cow Mountain- Barkerville Mountain portion of the belt. The global exploration potential of the entire Barkerville Gold Mines property is substantially larger yet, possibly 2-2.5 x greater. This presents a very large exploration challenge.

Scoping of the potential for the largely unexplored Barkerville Mountain ridge can be accomplished with several long holes under Barkerville Mountain on the newly-acquired Tamarac portion of the property. This ridge shed placer gold down the Barkerville side of the mountain and into Williams Creek, yet the ridge itself sits undrilled and underexplored.
