I'm sure that the short interest that will soon be announced for the 15th will be much higher.  The 31st of Dec had a two week increase of 23%.  The recent poor market scenario is proof.

It appears that the only thing the new "Director of Corporate Communications" (fullfilled with his new 250,000 option shares) did the last month was give a clue to the fund buddies that the numbers from La Negra weren't too hot, and basically  no info on Shafter was available at this time.  We were left guessing as usual.

Communications from this company is simpy APPALLINGLY  POOR, and leaves the retail investor out in the cold (once again: as usual......)
