"' The time has come for the Mongolian government to take Oyu Tolgoi matters into its own hands,' said President Ts.Elbegdorj."

From the way it appears on the board one might ask the following:

So I guess President Ts.Elbegdorj is going to buy Rio out?

Is he going to nationalize OT and start a war?

Suppose an agreement for a buyout is reached, but a little later Rio says they want to renegotiate the deal?

I suppose the complete withdrawal of Rio and its personnel will get President Ts.Elbegdorj what he wants...?

I guess there's no accounting for what some government leaders can say.  Out of context the above quote is pretty bad,  (maybe its pretty bad even in context... )  Here's the link to the article it's from:

Actually, the GOM's President makes some very good points, and there's not much on the "Green,' issues, but refreshingly, how can there be healthy growth?  I think Rio can deal with that, but is what the Mongolian President saying true?  If true, I expect, through Rio's leadership and good example, this thing will come back down to earth, and all will end well, but still no change to the 34%, plus royalties and taxes.
