The implications of an article I read recently in the Financial Post suggests that an auction took place (behind closed doors, of course, because thi is Canada) and Glencore was the winner. If that's actually the case, there will be no further bidding. Somebody else wuld have to pout together the same kind of deal with a strong Canadian component, or offer ASgrium and Richardson a better deal if that actually is possible as there are likely non-compete agreements between Glencore, Agrium and complicated. Personally I'm treating the money I have in Viterra as money in the bank and If I need some, I'll sell otherwise I'll wait for my full value, no comission price.
