5N Plus Announces Changes to its Management Team

MONTREAL, Aug. 20, 2012/CNW Telbec/ - 5N Plus Inc. (TSX: VNP) (the "Company"), the leading producer of specialty metal and chemical products, is pleased to announce the following appointments to its management team:

  • Mr. Jean Mayeras Director, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary.

  • Mr. Sean Fulleras Vice President, Strategic Supply.

  • Mr. Zhang Wenas Vice President, Commercial Activities China.


Mr. Mayerbrings 15 years of business and legal experience. He has served as general counsel, has held senior executive positions and has served as director with various public companies in the mining and technology sectors.

Mr. Fullerhas served at MCP/5N Plus for 12 years as he initially acted as General Manager in the United Kingdomfor 7 years and then acted as Director in Hong Kongfor the last 5 years.  Mr. Fullerholds a degree in Production Engineering from the University of Aston, UK and brings more than 20 years of experience in metal sourcing and significant international experience.

Mr. Wenhas served as General Manager, CIR since the acquisition of MCP by the Company in April 2011and is based in Shenzhen.  Mr. Wenhas been intensely involved in metal sourcing and commercial activities in Chinaover the last decade.

The Company also announces that Mr. Laurent Raskinand Mr. Frank Fachehave ceased to act as managers of the Company but will remain on the Board of Directors of the Company.
