Given that there seem to be many people involved in the oil and gas industry reading here, I thought I would ask a quick question...

 

If the Keystone pipeline is approved to extend to Alberta, what is going to be pumped through it? WCS or Syncrude synthetic? I would imagine it would be WCS, and therefore will have no benefit to companies producing synthetic products that already fetch prices closer to WTI.

 

Any clarifications from anyone?
