And just one final comment... legal or illegal, the brokerage houses that do this, particularly the ones that resort to "attitude shaping", should be ashamed of themselves.  They are the ones that we look to for guidance and advice in the markets... I saw a debate recently about whether brokers should be held to fiduciary duties... needless to say, the representative of the industry said it's not necessary... because the brokerages self-police and hold themselves to a high standard... I'm sure some do.
