OTCQX/EORBF Nov. 15 data: not available yet

On one hand: they are saying repeatedly: this project won't work, it is very risky, I would not buy now, it will stay at these levels forever, wait, don't buy at market price, need contracts, need revenues, "pumpers" (when putting together numbers & facts), all these goods news do not count; they are using Molycorp suing M&K (of course MCP won't say they are extremely satisfied - they want money and want M&K to take as much blame as they can shovel on them; MCP has been/is?? under regulatory investigation) to denigrate Orbite project - that had to go through stringent Engineering validation and design (Quebec) - full-scale tested, the same guys saying boldly in a 3-page "report" that they are comfortable with a price target of $ 0.90 and warning institutional investors of the "risks" - without having even ever visited Orbite Pilot Plant, like all of the analysts; sending their paid poets in boards like this one to bring systematic negative posts each time there is some hope of making a few pennies on the downside, or simply invading the thread, etc.

BUT

On the other hand (and very interestingly), they have started to do some shy covering of their HUGE short positions (if they cover too much, we have a lift-off)... Still a long long way to go... This speaks by itself. They are scared; they are the one at full risk.

In first half of September, less than 200,000 (TSX+OTCQX) short position covering helped bringing the share price to 3.93. They are really playing with fire so close to HPA Plant start-up. Time's up.

Molycorp shares down on regulatory investigation

By: Henry Lazenby
9th November 2012

TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Shares of New York-listed Molycorp fell by 13.02% to $7.55 apiece on Friday after the miner disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing it was under investigation by the SEC over the accuracy of its disclosures.

The staff of the SEC notified the company in August that a formal order of investigation had been issued regarding, among other things, the accuracy of the company's public disclosures.

Molycorp said it was cooperating with the SEC in connection with the investigation and that it could not predict the length, scope or results of the investigation or the impact, if any, on its results.

Molycorp reported a third-quarter loss on lower rare-earth prices and higher production costs. The miner posted a net loss attributable to shareholders of $18.9-million, or 19c a share, in the quarter ended September 30. That compared with a profit of $45.4-million, or 49c a share, in the year-earlier period.
