There may be a bit of selling pressure from that, but in reality, it is of no real concern to the area where MMT operates. The oil pirates are a much more pressing concern.
Speaking of that, has everyone seen the pictures about the oil theft and the local oil "refineries" in the bush?
I forgot who posted the link, but it was appalling.
I couldn't believe the environmental damage these people are causing to their own country.
One would think the government would be more concerned about what is happening, both economically and environmentally. I guess it just shows how truly backward these countries remain.
Stopping the oil theft and associated pipeline ruptures would be good for not just MMT and the other producers, but for everyone, especially the people.
It is simply a sad situation.
