was a producer in 1930s.  now in a sweet spot area with a 43-101 compliant resource base of 4M ozs that may well increase with more exploration success.  personally, been in and out of this stock with minor gains or losses since mid 90s.  this go around may be the best chance for moneta, yet historically speaking, since mid 90s or earlier all their projects have come up with not much in shareholder value other than a good promotional cycle.  don't think they ever ventured outside gold, so i guess that is a positive in my book.  as to any reverse splits, i don't know for sure, more than likely since their shares outstanding is getting up there again, almost 200M shares o/s.  if only the sp is much much higher so that it can attract possible jvs and financings that in all likelihood will come at the expense of dilution...albeit they do have 4M ozs of gold.  a fine balance between what they got or may have that may well be produced or attract a buyer in the future versus company finances and how best to approach with the least amount of dilution as to getting shareholders the best value.......
