I remember Pierre Lassonde citing this Chinese proverb/curse in the preface of one of Newmont's annual reports. We are there. And now we've gained insight into that quantity of corruption that is "enough to PO the Pope." Bad world politics, bad banking (that now appears to involve the Vatican's bank in money laudering), bad behavior both inside and outside of the church (and undoubtedly not limited to just the catholic church). Everything is rigged one way or another. Diogenes is in tears.
I think he also said that you know you're in a bull market for gold when the POG is rising in all currecies --- which it has, and it now is pausing for a rest, while the miscreants scramble for new schemes to try to supress the price. Interesting times they are. GL
