Regarding our Bakken , Nat gas injected EOR ...

Found some intereting information from the Cenovus site.  Their Wayburn ( Bakken ) play has been on CO2 injection since 2000 ... They pipe the CO2 in from N Dakata  ??

Significantly increased production , very low decline rate ... and a very long life.

Others may find this CO2 injection EOR interesting .

It’s similar to what we can expect from our Bakken Nat Gas injection EOR..

Main difference as I see it is we use our own local Nat Gas.

they say  in part..

The original facilities at Weyburn were built in the mid-1950s to handle oil and water production, plus a very small amount of solution gas. In 2000, the field began operating on CO2 miscible flood.
